Results for the Heat Conductivity experiment are here.

Wool Cotton Polyester Nylon

Hypothesis

We initially thought that nylon and polyester were going to be the best choices due to the density of the fabrics, which could take in the heat more due to a higher surface area, but looking at the results, it was inconclusive..

Conclusion

The results were actually surprisingly tight, with Polyester and Cotton coming out on top, which is half of what I expected. What I did not expect, however was the tightness of the results, only coming a few degrees on top. I definitely could've been more consistent with how I wrapped the beakers, But that wasn't going to really shift the results much. I also was off with the timers by a second or two, but that is within margin of error. Overall, it went well.
